In early Summer 2018, Dron & Wright's building surveyors, acting for Bolmuir Properties Limited, project managed the completion of a full and comprehensive refurbishment of these beautiful buildings.  Over 5,000 sq ft of 19th Century buildings were turned into modern office premises with comfort cooling and data cabling fully installed and ready to occupy.  Oktra Limited were the Design and Build Contractor and proved to be highly effective, working well with Dron & Wright to provide highly desirable space which has received a lot of interest in the market place.  We even managed to make internal alterations to release a further 600+ sq ft.

Successful Letting Of 8 & 9 Buckingham Place

 

Further to our comprehensive refurbishment of 8 & 9 Buckingham Place, we are pleased to announce the letting of the entire 5,125 square feet to Manchester Square Partners.  They have taken a new FRI lease for a period of 10 years, subject to a break at the 5th year.  The tenant is due on-site to undertake their fit-out with occupation anticipated by the end of July.

YouGov Shoreditch - Successful Lease Re-Gear!

 

On behalf of YouGov Plc, we have successfully negotiated a re-gearing of their leases in 50 Featherstone Street, London EC1.

 

YouGov Plc have signed a new ten year lease, subject to a fifth year break on the third, fourth and fifth floors, which comprise a total floor area of 18,491 sq ft.  The re-gearing included a surrender of their existing leases on the ground and lower ground floors.

Dron & Wright acted for an undisclosed client in the acquisition of a new distribution and workshop facility.  The premises provides approximately 25,000 sq ft of accommodation, taken on a new 20 year FRI lease from Associated British Foods.  A bespoke fit-out project is to be undertaken, including the installation of a new 8,500 sq ft mezzanine floor.

Freehold Disposal Of Westminster Fire Station

Success For LFEPA

 

Dron & Wright acted on behalf of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) in the recent freehold sale of the former Westminster fire station.

 

The 14,350 sq ft property is located at 4 Greycoat Place, SW1 and comprises a five-storey listed building which sits on a 0.19 acre site.

 

The freehold interest was sold to Westminster Fire Station Limited at a price of £9.4 million, for a predominantly residential conversion scheme, with A3 on the ground and newly created basement, for which planning permission has not yet been granted.

Success For LFEPA

 

Dron & Wright acted on behalf of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) in the recent freehold sale of the former Woolwich fire station.

 

The 10,105 sq ft property is located at 24 Sunbury Street, SE18 and comprises a three storey listed building which sits on a 0.15 acre site.

 

The freehold interest was sold to Homeland Property Ltd at a price of £760,000.
